Watch
it burn is a tightly knit foundation. They are four average
individuals who share friendship, a love for music and a common
goal. That goal is to play music that anyone can relate to
in some way or another. All are well versed in the ways of
professional music, as they have been involved with bands
previously. Travis Milligan played drums for John Cougar Concentration
Camp, but later, was one of the founders of watch it burn
with Dave Addison (guitar) and Brian "Led" Leger (guitar/vocals).
Taking a brief hiatus from being the lead man, Led played
second guitar for the Santa Cruz band, Loadstar. Adam Hay
has played bass for the last three years in the Portland,
OR band, Tenpin.
The
members of watch it burn have collectively played with such
national acts as: Avail, Small Brown Bike, All, Tiltwheel
and Suicidal Tendencies. They also played a number of dates
on the 1999 Van’s Warped Tour.
Although
the music created by this band is thought to be in a category
of its own, it is derived from the very essence of the players,
and their own musical influences. Some of these influences
include Jawbreaker, Alkaline Trio, and Hot Water Music. Values
are the core of the creativity of this group. The lyrics portray
the importance of friendship, life, and the state of the world
that we live and interact in everyday. Using music as a way
to communicate in an honest, heartfelt account, is what makes
up the philosophy that watch it burn is so dedicated to.

Pollution CD:I saw these guys a couple of years ago and
they blew me away. The power and energy of their live show
is unstoppable. WIB's newest full length finally does them
justice. With a quality recording and more dynamic songs,
this release is top notch. Now located in San Diego. Fans
of Hot Water Music and Jawbreaker will eat this up. Hit
